Replacement Radio

I own a 2016 Chrysler 200. The radio keeps restarting, never moving past the visual chrysler symbol. I've checked online to see if there is an update for the radio - there is not. I have to purchase a new radio but don't want to be over charged by my dealer. I was looking for aftermarket radios online and found a couple I like but I'm worried about the climate controls that we're integrated in this radio. Any thoughts on where I could find an aftermarket radio that is compatible or if there's anyway to fix the issue. My research has turned up virtually nothing.

With it being a 2016, shouldn't it still be under warranty?

I would suggest hitting ebay and craigs list and looking there for a factory replacement for yours, since I doubt you will find any aftermarket units that will control the temps.
If you get a used factory one, make sure that you get any security codes for it from the seller, otherwise you will have to go to the dealer to get it working if it is like the 07 antitheft setup. You may have to take it to the dealer to finish the install, but it would just be a quick software update.

My aftermarket android headunit claims to be able to control temps on some cars, but I have an 07 300C that does not have that kind of temp controller.

It may sound silly but at the end of the day the radio is a "computer" and this can help computers that get stuck at the starting up phase.

Disconnect the battery fully so there is no power to the car at all, then try starting the car a few times (This is to drain any residual power that could be in capacitors or the like). You may get a bit of life from the radio for like half a second the first time but shouldn't have anything after a few times (3 is my lucky number for this). Once that's done then reconnect the battery and check again.

Ensure you have any codes for the radio before doing this as you may need to enter a code, although given it's current state, getting a prompt for a code would be an improvement on your current situation.
