Retired Army guy from Michigan!
I'm joining every Chrysler/Jeep/Dodge/Ram forum I can find lol, so if you're on more than one this probably isn't your first time reading my intro :P
Hey everyone!
My name is Ryan Doute, and I live in Dearborn, Michigan, home of the big 3! I just recently moved back home, I was living in Fort Lewis, Washington. I retired medically from the Army after 8 years of service as a Technical Escort technician. Think of it as a cross between EOD and CBRN, my job in layman terms was identifying, sampling and disarming weapons of mass destruction.
I'm 28 years old, and I'm a single father raising my 8 year old son. Currently I drive a 2008 Toyota X-Runner, but in the very near future I'll be buying a 2013 Dodge Ram and I'm really excited about it!
As for my change of career since retiring from the military, I'm now a car salesman at Cueter Chrysler Dodge Jeep and Ram in Ypsilanti, Michigan. I absolutely LOVE my new job; all I really do is meet awesome new people and learn about and drive sweet cars and trucks. My long-term goal as a car salesman is to break the stigma that has been following car salesman for as long as I've been alive. My intention is to make buying a car a completely transparent experience for the consumer. I figure if I make it painless and ensure that my consumers get the best deal possible, then they will give me both repeat business and referrals.. and in my opinion that is the way to be successful in this business.
I've only owned one Dodge before in my life, a 2008 Dodge Avenger SXT. I enjoyed the vehicle but I did have some issues with it on the sunroof leaking.. other than that it was a great vehicle! I'm super excited to get to buy Chrysler products at near-invoice price now due to my employment, and I CANNOT WAIT!! to get my hands on a 2013 Ram =D =D
Anyway, I look forward to hanging with you guys on this forum and learning about all of the different cars we carry for my personal and professional experience. It's great to meet you all, and thanks for welcoming me to the forum!

What Detroit suburb are you in? Close to Dearborn? Shoot you should come down to Cueter in Ypsi and visit me sometime!
