Strange noise coming from passenger side
I have a 2014 Chrysler 300 base model that I have recently developed a strange noise coming from the passenger side as a take off from a light or from a stop. The best way I can describe it is it sounds like if a lug nut would have broken off inside my center cap and as rolling around inside of it. It goes away once I get past 10 miles per hour and I have checked all of my lug nuts driven with my center Off shook my wheels my suspension feels tight my tires are wearing normal has anybody experienced anything like this before? I'm not experiencing any difference in drive ability or performance is just that noise happens every time I let off the brake and start moving till I get to about 10 miles per hour, it is a rear wheel drive not an all wheel drive so I have ruled out half shafts. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you jacked the car up and spun the wheels, and checked them for excessive play?

I haven't been able to do so yet due to my living situation. I have shook the wheels and the car while on the ground and nothing odd and no noises. I am planning on pulling the wheels off in the next day or so. I've heard this noise could be a broken swaybar end link

If at all you're thinking you want a dealer to take a look, let us know. We're available via direct message and would be glad to get this over to a Case Specialist for further review. Jasmine Chrysler Social Care Specialist |
