3.5l engine PCV-(EMERGENCY)

Can the ruber tubes on the end of the pcv cause the car not to start if they are damaged? is that considered a vacuum leak? its located on the upper back. it has too ends.. 1 to the cylinder head and the other to upper intake manifold..

CHRYSLER TECH 01-05-2011 10:59 AM

no it would just have high idle there is only one PCV

Vacuum Leak?

what can cause low compression after reinstalling the cylinder head? it has spark and fuel, it just wont crank over..I'm guessing its a hose, because I removed one to see if any compression was coming out and it was very little.

CHRYSLER TECH 01-05-2011 09:08 PM

a hose has nothing to do with low compression that is all upper engine stuff bent valves bad head gasket not torqued down timing is off and bent valves
who ever machined your head sucks

no it wont cause the car to not start but it will idle high and when you brake it will still want to go
