A few issues Could use some advice

Hello all,

Newbie on the forums but somewhat technical when it comes to cars.

I bought an White Aspen with the Hemi yesterday and its great. I have a few issues I wanted to share and gather your thoughts and advise.

81k Miles.

1. TPMS Sensor keeps flashing, I suspect the tire pressure is low. I read in another thread that it would be solid if the sensor needs to be replaced. Also, does each tire have a sensor? How would I know which one needs to be replaced?

2. Front end Knocking. I hear the front suspension knocking when going over bumps. Read on this forum that the usual suspect is the sway bar links, can someone confirm as this is an inexpensive repair that I can do in my driveway.

3. Tow Haul Lamp - This lamp illuminates when I place the car into Park. I can turn it off afterwards, not sure why this happens, I suspect a bad sensor.
Does anyone know where it is located and what part number it may be?

4. Alternator Whine - Perhaps its the pulley, does this car need new tensioners and belts at this mileage?

5. The black housing around the passenger mirror is broken, I would expect this to be an easy fix.

Thanks everyone for reading/responding, and I'm glad to be here with everyone.

Cheers,

1. Tire pressure is low.
2. Some would consider it inexpensive, some might consider it expensive. People have done it it in their driveway, however i cannot confirm or deny if you can do it.
3.Could be a sensor, but i have no clue where it is.
4. Perhaps it is the pulley, perhaps it is an alternator bearing, perhaps it could be??? Sorry cannot hear the whine over the Internet.
5.I expect it to be an easy fix also.
