'80 Buick Regal Limited $1,200 from grandparents then $1,500 in tires, wheels, paint.

'84 Chevy Cavalier Z24 free given to me from parents(was also grandparents first). I was in college, no money, needed transportation.

'93 Dodge Shadow ES, 6 cyl 5-speed. New $12,500 I started at Chrysler, had no credit or money and took a loan from my parents.

'94 Dodge Ram regular cab long bed 4X4 $20,000. First of the "revolutionary new styling" Ordered it before the quad cab or short bed were being built yet.

'98 neon $12,200 loaded R/T. Shadow was totaled Jan. 3, 1995 by a drunk driver (and, no, the drunk wasn't me) took me three years to get over the fear of small cars.

'01 Ram reg cab short bed 4X4 $18,000 [:'(]what a pile of junk, '94 was much better, got rid of it with only 44,000 miles because of problems.

'05 PT cruiser conv. base. $20,000 over paid but I got it, literally, straight off the car hauler 10 days after production started.

'05 Power Wagon $33,000 out the door, stickered close to $44,000. What a truck! Only complaint is I want to make real bumpers for it this summer, too weak.
