Can't find scan gague plug on my 89 lebaron conv. Or mabe there isn't one.

 

For the most part, yours NOT being OBD11, I don't think that you will find a scanner for yours. And even dealers have obsoleted the factory service scanners of that era.
They do have a scan port in the wire harness of most models of that era in the engine compartment for chrysler proprietary equipment .
What motor does your LeBaron have?

 

It has the 2.5 4 cyl with 3 speed auto. I figured with all the computer stuff you could get when new it would have a plug in. I just wanted to check it to see if there were any codes. It only has 62,000 miles and in good shape. When warmed up it idles in nutral at 7,000 rpm. When put in gear it drops to 5,000 rpm and the power steering jerks when used until the throttle is stepted on a little.
