91 Chrysler Imperial ABS problems

Thanks for stopping in. My question is, I have a 91 Chrysler Imperial 3.3LTR with ABS system. One day I was driving along... stopped at one light and the brakes worked fine and got to the next light and it was as if there were no brakes. I had to use both feet to stop it. I have checked brake fluid level and it is ok, bled the brake system, checked to make sure all fuses and relays were working, but the brake system is like I don't have power brakes... it still takes extreme foot/leg pressure to get the car to stop. Suggestions on what more to look for? How to test what might be wrong? Have priced a ABS Brake Accuator unit for $325. But want to make sure that is the problem before spending that kind of money. Anybody with an outlet for a better price on the Unit or ability to purchase the pump and motor separately... please send that info too. Thanks again.
