Door locking issues!

Good morning I have a 300 m that I bought to resell. Has no key fob and is having issues with the doors locking when key is in ignition and the doors r shut. It happens when engine is running or not. Any one ever had this issue ? The doors lock and unlock from drivers door button. And it won’t lock with key in ignition with drivers lock button when I try to lock as a test !,, it is locked me out at this time!,, thanks! Please help
