Dupli-Color Caliper Paint
 

Anyone have any experience with Dupli-Color caliper paints? I mean, I like the idea because of the the fact that they may actually protect your calipers from rust an corrosion but it almost seems like you just won't notice it unless you go for the yellow. Still, the fact that you can paint the disc and all of the brake parts makes it more likely to be seen I suppose. This is in comparison to caliper covers which can only be used on the calipers. Nice! Do you have any experience with the G2 paints?

I have used the "standard" Dupli-color caliper spray paint not the G2 product (yet)

I used standard caliper paint on my convertible plus rustoleum aluminum paint on the brackets with a clear coat over both.

I like the look of FIREM's painted rotors.

They look a lot better than my bare metal (read rusty) ones. They rust up even though the car is never driven in wet weather.

When you paint rotors, do you try to keep the paint off the swept area or just paint it on and burn it off with a couple of brake applications?

Masked the friction surface. Did not want to contaminate the pads.
New rotors, washed with alcohol prior to paint.
