Default Changing Light-Bulbs

OK, just bought my new 04 Sebring Platinum Edition Limited Couple and I have a question. What'sthte procedure for changing the headlight bulbs? I already bought the SilverStars for it, just want to know the right way to do it before I started? Does the whole lamp have to come out, or can you get to the bulbs from behind? Thanks!!

yours should be the same as mine. while there isnt alot of room, they can be changed without removing the headlight assemblies. they just twist out. the corner markers on the other hand are Real tight to get out without at least loosening the assemblies.

Thanks for the reply. Ya I know all about not touching the bulbs. I changed the low beams to Silverstars today. No problems after I actually looked at it. So, has anyone else had problems finding the 9005XS Silverstars for the high beams?? I'm having a BIOTCH of a time. All I can find around here are the 9005ST's, which have the bent base, not the straight base.

Ya I guess I do. The 9005XS are a straight socket, where the 9005ST are a bent socket. Same with the 9006XS and 9006ST for the high beams. It seems that all I can find around here are the ST's which have that bent socket. Kinda sucks.

Default RE: Changing Light-Bulbs to go brighter 9007

Just a searching the site for 9007 bulb replacment kit Possibly Zenon ( xeneon) headlight kit.
seems like my headlights are dim compared to my vehvy ventutre or Nissian altma HAOLGEN lights.. I tired to find Xenon headlight aftermarket kits (HARBOR freight had 4 kits and i even called the supplier of the kits and they do not make one for the 9007 bulbs. BUMMER

what if any have you done,,,other than to get the 20 or 30 percent brighter bulbs,, I also sanded my lens cover plastic lens with a polish that starts course then finer and finer,, until the headlight is clear. that helped a lot but it's still kinda DIM.
