Default Need some help

I have a 2006 300 Touring Edition, 3.5L, RWD. Some how the MAP Sensor went out, and none of the local dealers can give me a time line of when they will get one if I order it. I tried some of the parts stores, but most are doubling or tripling the price with shipping charges. I know someone who has an 05 Magnum with the 3.5L, it is totaled, sitting in his driveway. He said I can take anything I need off of it, but no one can tell me if the 05 3.5 is interchangeable with the 06 3.5L. The dealer I called gave me a hard time and only said I could try it, but it may cause other problems. Someone else told me that 05-08 were all interchangeable, so I am totally confused. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Look up the part on chryslerparts.net. It comes up with a part that says it works on the 300, the Magnum and the Charger from 2005 to 2007. Since the part from your buddy's car is free, go ahead and try it. If it works, you're home free. If not, I can't imagine you'll do any harm.
Alternatively, have the dealer look up the part number for the Magnum and for the 300. If it's the same part number, it'll work.
