Default Suspension Problems

So the other day while working my inner tie rods fell off my car. There was a pop and my wheels straightened. I tried to take a right hand turn to park my car and bam! Wheels wouldn't move.

So for the past 3 days I have been working on my 2000 Chrysler 300m to put my inner tie rods back on. The newest and biggest hassle now is putting the bolts back in my car. I will be sitting on top of my motor screwing the bolts into the rack, but they simply won't screw in or get tight. I found one of the old bolts and it is shorter than the ones I got from the moog bushing set. One of my friends suggested that the bolt could've snapped.

Does anyone have any idea what could be stopping the bolts from tightening into the rack? Throw me some ideas. Appreciation in advance!

Bolt could have snapped, has happened. There is also a spacer that needs to be ALIGNED.

We checked up on it today and the bolt did snap in there. I need to pull the rack and pinion. A year ago I had a Saturn SL1 1998 and there were some great videos to help me figure out how to replace my starter among other things.

Does Chryslerforums have similar videos/ guides?
