Question 07 Pacifica Engine light/Gas Cap?

Just have a quick question...my husband put gas in my 07 Pacifica today and didn't click the gas cap closed, shortly after my check engine light came on...this was earlier today, I drove the car a couple short distances since and it's still on. I am just wondering how long will it take to go out on it's own or does it have to be reset? Should I still be on the safe side and take it to Auto Zone to see what codes may come up? The car is running great, just wanted to add that. Thanks for any help/suggestions

Click the cap three more times, just to make sure its latched. Cycle the trip reset button and the gascap message should go out. The c/e lamp will remain . you may disconnect the battery to clear that.

Take a quick look in the ASPEN section...I just answered a post in there, and explained how everything works. The systems are close enough.

If You wanted Dealership Service, You wouldnt Go To "Discount Quik Lube" , So why did you Walk into a dealership Expecting QUIK LUBE PRICING????

@ Djinn-n-tonic.

Hi there, new on this forum because in the netherlands no one can help me.
The Pacifica is never been on the market here (only import).

I have the same problem with the engine light.
Could you tell me where I can find the ESIM on a Pacifica?

regards Jolyon

What year is the vehicle???

It may not Have an ESIM, But rather a NVLD System...The principles are the same, but the switch would be on The NVLD assembly instead of the Charcoal canister.
