2004 pacifica climate control
I have a 2004 Pacifica touring. Recently, the interior temperature dissappears on the climate control panel. When this happens, you cannot change the temp, enter either of the automatic modes, or turn the system off. Sometimes, switching between us/metric will seem to set it right again, but not always. Usually, it will do nothing until the vehicle is recycled, then it seems to be alright for a while, until the temp dissappears again. Any ideas?

You may want to recalibrate the control head unit. The instructions are in the service manual. It's a matter of holding down a few of the buttons at the same time.
If that doesn't work you may be a faulty control head. The ATC units have DTCs which can be read by a dealer, which may given insight into the issues you are having. There may be other scanners out there that can read the HVAC DTCs, maybe a company like Actron has one. Best wishes.
