2004 Pacifica DTC 755 & 700
So I've had many of the problems (electrical) covered in this forum, and have been able to fix them (before I found this forum). At the moment I have an 04 that's giving me code 755, 700 and 456
So the reader I'm using (Borrowed) gives me the "top reported fix". So DTC P0755 says "Second and fourth gear clutch solenoid circuit malfunction
-Top reported fix: Replace transmission solenoid pack
-Second reported fix: Replacing powertrain control module
AND P0700 Transmission control system malfunction indicator lamp request
-Top reported fix: Replace automatic transmission
-Second reported fix: Fill the automatic transmission fluid
I don't have (have never seen) Chilton or Klymer manual for this car, and really don't want to drop $175. on a manual for a 10 year old car that I'll only keep for another 12-18 months. What I'm looking for is info on replacing the "transmission solenoid pack". I did find some obscure sites claiming to have Pacifica manuals for download for like $9 - $20.00 but when something sounds "too good to be true" it scares me off
So, any input / diagrams on this repair (Transmission solenoid pack replacement) would be appreciated

Thanks Kevin, what I'm looking for is guidance in this repair. How difficult is this repair? Pictures & steps for removal & replacement (copies of pages from the manual)? Or, has anyone bought the digital version of the manual at one of the sites (For CHEAP) that come back in a google search for the manual? Are these legit manuals?

Okay, so here is the final post on this one (hopefully)
I ordered a manual (pdf) from someone on ebay ($14.95) and the solenoid pack from "Electrical Advantage" also on ebay ($87.85). Started looking through the manual while waiting for the part to arrive. Also, used some "Engine Brite" and hot water to clean the area a couple nights ago (glad I did this). Solenoid pack arrived with todays mail. Removed the bad one, and made sure the face was clean prior to installing the new one. This was probably the most painstaking part of the swap. Tranny fluid kept coming up polluting the cleaned area. Ended up using a turkey baster to pull about 1/2 cup of fluid out of the exposed openings. Put in the new pack and have put about 19 miles (street & freeway) on it with no issues. Was a little worried as the manual says I'd need a DRBIII tool so the PCM & TCM could re-learn / calibrate. For whatever reason this does not seem to be the case, as all codes are gone! Keeping my fingers crossed.
