2005 Chrysler Town & Country touring
I was wondering if anyone has any wiring diagrams for the rig?
also, does anyone know which fuse the backup lights might be on?
my tail/park lights left and right both work, but the backup lights don't
Also, any good diagrams for a 1996 town and country ?

I'm looking for the same information on my '05 Touring as well, no backup lights but everything else works. I checked the maxi-fuse under the hood and it is good, the bulbs are good as well but there is minimal voltage across the blades for the maxi-fuse - about 0.02 volts. Could this be a problem with the BCM?

yep BCM or TCM back up switch I ahve seen the BCM driver fail for the back up lights the only real way to know is to see if the BCM is seeing the back up light request from the TCM with a dealer scan tool.

Not familiar with the TCM, what is it? In your experience, could this be a software glitch or hardware? What ever happened to good old fashioned fuses and mechanical switches ................

TCM is tranny computer. The last 3 I have messed with has been the BCM internal driver issue.
The good ole days wont be able to handle as much bells and whistles as the new vans have on them.
They use computer because there is much less wires and waste of space as for as getting things done.
Would u want to pay for extra wires and switches on 1 million vans when u can get it done with a songle computer that will cost less then all of the wire and switches and fuses that use to be required to do some of the stuff on here. Plus think of it this way with new tech sff going on it does save u money on the first cost of the van be getting rid of unneeded stuff like the good ole days hehe.
