2012 Town & Country 430rbz unconnect broke
Recently bought a 2012 TC used from a local used car lot. Van is still under full warranty and I love it. I took it to chrysler dealership bc the blue tooth and unconnect was not working. After taking the dash and radio out they told me that a "pigtail" wire had been cut, (part #515638aa) and they wouldn't cover it. Now the dealer I got it from said that the previous owner was enterprise rent a car and claims that they often disable those items. Chrysler wants $450+ to repair it. Does this seem normal? Could I take it to another chrysler dealer and play dumb, and hope they repair it. Why in the heck would someone take out the radio to cut a wire. Non of it makes sense. Help!!!!!

Contact Chrysler Customer Service by email or call them. The selling dealer, if they knew the car's history and what the previous owner usually or might do to the radio, should have checked that and made it plain to you when you bought the van. They should have checked the van over and made sure everything worked, and told you about things that didn't, particularly on such a new car.
I've had good responses from Chrysler Customer Service when I've had a problem that I thought the dealer should be handling under warranty.
