Radio doesn't function (although radio works when I tested it in my 2006 dodge stratus) all fuses intact as well as replaced, key fob don't function, and the oddest thing which has my father puzzled (he's a retired 30 year master machanic) is that when the key is not in the on position nothing functions i.e. electric doors, locks, interior lights nothing but when you turn the ignition on everything but the radio and the key fob function...and what's weirder is if you put the key it accessory mode (the key back one from off) nothing functions...and the tip of the iceburg is when you turn off the vehicle there is a 3 to 5 second delay before all electrical accesrories turn off including headlights and interior lights but ironicly the cigarette lighter still works....someone please help I don't want to take this to a dealer unless I have to...

 

If the expression "wierd electrical issues" is hovering about in your mind, the first and cheapest thing to do is a hard-reset of all the microprocessor boards by disconnecting the battery -ve. for a few minutes. You may possibly need the radio code to reactivate the radio after this. You can regard this procedure as pretty standard with microprocessor controlled equipment. Indeed I have to do it with my Freeview tuner, my broadband modem on this computer I'm using now.
