2000 Concorde 4th Hole at Thermostat Housing
What is the fourth hole on the engine block next to the bottom bolt hole of the thermostat housing? I believe I had a leak from that hole. I can blow air into it and it sounds like it is blowing into the cooling gallery.
There is no crack in the thermostat housing and the gasket was intact.
Thanks!

2.7 Litre - Concorde
It appeared to have some coolant coming out of it. I went to the dealer yesterday and purchased the bleeder valve housing with the attached pipe that goes between the cylinder heads and connects to the heater hose on top of the transmission. The parts manager said he sells the piece all of the time for the 2.7L engines. He said the top of the box cracks. My fast leak started after I heard a pretty noticable pop or crack noise from the engine. Does the fourth hole serve as some sort of drain? I can hear the air I blow into it on top of the motor.
Thanks!
