2000 Concorde LXi Power Locks Squealing
When I press the power lock up or down or use the key to open the driver door all the door lock mechanisms make a loud squealing noise. Is there a primary device failure causing all the doors to make this noise? And the doors don't open. I have to manually pull the latch once I have manually opened the driver door. TIA

I have 2 doors that do the same thing on my 300m. The nylon strip in the door lock mechanism is stripped. The sound is the gear bypassing the ridges on the strip. Sorry to say but the only way to fix is replace door locks. Very expensive!

I had to replace my two front actuators for my locks about 3 years ago. I bought some from my local car stereo shop(I know the owner so I only paid cost for them, about 10 bucks) but i'm sure you can find them on the internet somewhere. When I priced them from chrysler at employee pricing they were around 90 bucks a peice.
