2002 300m special wont start

I was driving on the freeway and my car did a jerk then completely shut down my engine turns over but my spark plugs aren't sparking I have no codes. I changed my battery now my engine light is on and blinks ten times

My uncle has a code reader and nothing popped up I haceit 156,000 miles on it I just got my timing belt kit done I haven't had any problems with my car at all I keep up with maintenance
