Hi everybody,

I have a 2002 Concorde w/2.7 v6. The Cruise control has been acting up. I'm at a loss. Most of the time it works fine. Other times, you turn in on, set the speed and then, for no apparent reason, it turns off. The cruise indicator light goes off, the car slows down, etc... The cruise will not turn back on, (light stays off, will not set speed), until you turn the ignition off. When you restart the car, it has, w/few exceptions, worked correctly. When it hasn't worked right away, turn it off again, wait a tic, start the engine and the cruise will work. Kinda lost on this one... Any ideas?

Found the answer in this forum. Someone had described taking the controls on the steering wheel apart, cleaning them and reassembly. Worked like a charm.
