96 concorde stalling in drive
hey guys I need some help when I'm driving and stop or go really slow like 4mph or less my car will stall but when in neutral or park my car will go down to like 200rpm then rev up it will also stall while driving but starts right back up do to the momentum from the wheels. any ideas?
Sounds as if you may have 2 issues.
I would suspect the IAC (Idle air control) may be sticking and causing stalling when coming to a stop or slowing down. It would also explain the drop to 200rpm and reving up.
The stalling while driving sounds to me that the motor is cutting out for a moment. The motor has not stopped spinning so it will fire up once whatever caused it to stall has cleared. The wheels turning will not push back to the motor and keep it turning.
