Default A/C Expansion valve Chrysler

Couple month ago A/C stopped working on my 2000 Chrysler 300M. I got the system recharged, it worked fine for couple of days, then no a/c again. Tried to recharge again and couldnot get any low pressure, removed expansion valve. Little pin iside the valve was misplaced, I put in new expansion valve and same thing happened again. does anyone know what the problem could be or is it just my bad luck with exp valves. Thanks in advance

if u recharged the system and it works why would an expansion valve be the cause to the issue at hand? I would say u have low freon again and U have a leak some where not a bad expansion valve.

A lot of the 300's had a leak that developed in the evap, see if you have any oil residue coming out of the drain, and you can usually tell that way. You have a leak somewhere as refrigerant doesn't disappear, make sure you get a good vacuum on the system before you recharge it, but you'll going to have to find the leak
