Front Brake Rotors

Front Brake Rotors
Hello,
I have a 2001 Concorde LX and I was at my local auto parts store attempting to buy front rotors. They asked if I had the 'Performance Package' but I was not sure. Can anyone tell me what makes up the performance package? I want to buy the correct rotors.
When I bought my car,the only upgrades it had wereantilock brakes, 16" aluminum (no chrome) wheels and an upgraded 8 speaker stereo. I think everything else was the basic Concorde package.
Thanks,
Bill

RE: Front Brake Rotors
Well, as far as I'm concerned,I do not have the elusive 'Performance Package'. If you have 16 inch wheels, make sure your rotors have an OD of 11.69 inches. Those for earlier years that had 15 inch wheels have an OD of under 11 inches.
BTW, the rotors were shot. Rusted all over the place with deep grooves that damaged the inner pads. Although the new rotors were cheap (33/ea) Chinese steel, at least they're new and seem to work OK.
It would have been real easy if my Chilton's book addressed my type of caliper. I spent too much time trying to get them to fit right before I realized that these are mirrored. The one on the driver's side hooks in at the low side and the one on the passenger side hooks in on the top side. This is so that they only need to source one type of caliper. Live and learn...
