My 2000 300m rack and pinion took a **** on me so I just replace it. so I put the car in reverse and it rolled back then it just stopped! like it was locked up now the car goes forward fine but in reverse it rolls back maybe 2ft and I need help

 

Don't really understand the issue. If after rack replacement you now have trans issues check the connectors at the trans and near the brake booster (2 large grey ones), may have been disturbed. Also check shift cable, also in the area..
