Default still stumbles, dies at times, 99LHS

well folks, we are still at it. Trying to solve the same problem that seems to be getting worse. I finally got a check engine light to come on as we were leaving church today. Engine was surging, runningabit rough, etc. After getting home, I checked for codes(light had since gone out, as they do after so many start ups) and found P0108, map sensor/baro sensor high input. Now I need to know how to approach this repair without simply throwing parts at it. Any help or advice would be appreciated. Thanks, DaveC.

so far so good! After purchasing a Haynes manual and doing some digging and studying, I pulled the throttle valve assembly, removed the IAC valve and cleaned them both with spray carb cleaner. Re-assembled, ran great last night and this morning on the way to work. Hope this helps someone with same or similar problem. " Ain't no fun when the car don't run!" Blessings to all, DaveC8656[sm=groupwave.gif]
