What year engines will work

History here 1997 LHS older gentleman owns it just trying to help him. It got hot and quit. Later that day he added some coolant started and drove it home have been posting here about the 1997 lhs that has had some problems. Well it is burning coolant white smoke out tail pipe sweet smelling. It is not showing coolant in the oil but it does over heat. He has a 1994 that was wrecked (rear ended). Both are 3.5s will it work without a bunch mods.
What I don’t understand about this is I can put my radiator tester on it and pump it up to 19 lbs and it will not lose pressure. Are these prone to the intake manifold gasket failing. Not sure how it can burn coolant without either a head gasket issue or cracked head or block. Or sucking in to the intake. Any ideas folks.

Looking for a 1994 LHS Exhaust Manifold(s), L and R. Is there another motor or Chrysler vehicle that is the same engine configuration that could be referenced/searched for a matching Exhaust Manifold? Market and/or aftermarket do not lis any for my 94 LHS. Going to a Pick n Pull is so very risky. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. James / St. Louis.
