Window off track
I have a couple of ideas... someone please tell me if I'm about to cause my self more damage than good.
My driver's side window pops off the track about 1/4 the way back up. I took the door apart, and it looks like one of the clips is busted... is it possible to drill thru the window, and zip tie the window into place? or will it shatter upon attempting this feet?

RE: Window off track
that is a terrible idea! though it requires a little bit of time, this is a simple repair, and the clip will cost you less than $10.
if you have someone that can help you it will go much smoother as 2 sets of hands is better than 1, however it is still fairly easy to do yourself.

RE: Window off track
it is a dealer only part i believe...it is less than $10...
and ditch the "dealer parts suck" thinking...if you ask them for a discount they usually will..it's all in the way you ask...be demanding yet polite..they want and need your business

I'm in such a habit of not using it anyway, and there's not much of an incentive for me to open my windows this time of year in Northern Michigan anyway! lol
iwant2play> It's not so much that I hate buying the "parts" from the dealer, it's that I dislike buying the parts from the "dealer". The dealership in town is rather stuffy, they could careless if their customer base lives or dies... maybe I'll call up the next closest Chrysler dealer and buy it from them. The dealership would sell the glue as well?

window lift bracket
I just checked my local dealer and the part is $7.96 without tax. The part # is 04878907AC. Some 3m glue is recommended, though I'm not sure which one. I have used windshield grade urethane and it does well. As noted before, be sure to not use the window for at least 24 hours to let it set-up. I'm in Missouri otherwise I might be able to be more help.
