Talking Need to Find/Buy Catalytic Converter & Muffler

Looking to buy catalytic converter and muffler for 2005 Chrysler Pacifica 3.5 AWD Touring. My mechanic wants the bung on converter towards the back, (see diagram).

Looking to order online line or have a shop to call.

Thanks,

UberPacifcia2005

Are you looking at something other than stock as a replacement? The O2 bung is typically on the pipe after the cat, not on the cat. If you are not using stock exhaust parts, your mechanic should have spec'd out out the needed parts. Not certain why you are doing their job?

ggoose,

Hey thanks for the reply. See image of what's under there currently. Is this what you are saying. I was going to do this myself and had ordered the converter and pipe together. But the one I got the holes were not the same size and getting the bolts off proved too difficult. As much as I don't like it I went to my Mechanic and he said if I wanted I could bring him the parts and he would cut the old ones out and weld in the new. He suggested what to look for. He wanted the bung in the back end of the catalytic converter.

Thanks,
