Default 04 concorde cdplayer replacement

I'm putting a new CD player in my 04 concorde, it has the infiniti system. I bought the wiring harness and install kit. I got it all hooked up but no sound will come out of the speakers with the new deck hooked up. They deck does work because I had it in my last car. I was thinking it has something to do with the amp for the infiniti system. Where is the amp located and can I just bypass it since my deck will put out more power anyway?

Word, that would have been very helpful but I figured it all out at work today anyway. What a pain in the *** though. The amp was in the kick panel. I'll post a pic of the install when I get one.
