HDD download?

HDD download?
The menu on GF's 2009 Voyager ltd shows that it will accept a download onto the hard-drive but no way of getting things off (via the USB port on the front).
The hard drive has been loaded over time from CDs. With the plan being to change the 2009 ltd for a 2013 ltd, I was wondering if the hard-drive can be copied onto a laptop or similar, to reload onto the new car without having to do it from CDs again?
Any ideas?
