Default How to modify the car audio player power wire so that always ON?

Hi, i have an old car audio player and i wish to modify it so that i can use the power supply from my room power socket and listen in my room. But i check the wire, there are red and yellow. Which one i should connect to the +12V?

Are you asking if you can run a car radio off of AC current in your house??

Nooooooooo, absolutley not.

Now, if you have a DC power supply then RED should be radio power and YELLOW is memory. Both are power wires. The black should be ground. You at least have to have the red and black in use. The yellow is up to you.

Noo need to shout so loud Lets presume that he has a DC power supply (with enough amperage), then answer is simple - both red and yellow connects to + and black connects to -. Simple.

im just curious , no disrespect , however - how old are you?
