Hi, I have a 98 sebring convertable. My stereo goes on and off by itself.
The time is always accurate but the radio will play fine and then all of a sudden it will just shut off. After a while it will turn back on and play fine.
It's really annoying. Also when it goes out the display will go out to then come back on when the radio decides to come back on. Any suggestions ? Thanks

 

It is a defective radio, power supply problems something we see a lot with chrysler radios that have the slider controls some people called it eq controls,
your radio needs to be repair or replace
