Default Problem with T&C RB1 radio/changer/navigator

I have an '05 T&C w/ 57k miles, with the multi-DVD changer & navigation sound system. Yesterday while driving the radio went off, I had to cycle the power switch and it came back on just fine....then I noticed that the steering wheel controls would not function. I shut the motor off and started it again....WA LA it was working again. The next time the engine was stopped and started it would not work again, shut engine off and back on....WA LA they were working again. Then later in the day while driving it stopped working again AND upon turning engine off and on again it DID NOT work this time AND has not worked since. Additionally, now I have discovered that the DVD changer portion does not work as well. I checked fuses and they seem to be ok....what about relays? Any other ideas?

Default Update

Every summer my RB-1 radio stops working for several weeks....only the AM/FM radio will work and the remainder kinda "spazzes" out. After a week or 2 it starts working again and works fine until the next summer months. This leads me to wonder if summer heat affects the head unit? Anyone else have problems with this?
