The code could be changed in the memory dump, often the code is changed to 1234.
There may still be a wrong power connection to your radio.

thank you. I called one and got the same code still not working. Not sure what I am doing wrong.

Can anybody help with code? See the sticker attached. I do not have the VIN of the donor vehicle. Thanks.
