Retrofitting Chrysler RAQ radio
Hi guys and girls, grateful for some help from the UK.
Slightly off model maybe, but I acquired a Chrysler RAQ radio from an '06Grand Cherokee with intention of a custom installation in an'02TJ Wrangler. Trouble is, I didn't realise that it had this CAN-BUS interface when I bought it!
I was wondering if anyone on here had found a way of getting round the CAN-BUS connections with a simulator/emulator in another Chrysler model. I guess someone, somewhere must have tried to do the same thing. It's such a neat unit and also less stealable from a soft top over here given that it isn't the same size as most UK/Euro DIN stereos. I know that there are retro conversion boxes available for Audi, Merc, etc. but can't find anything for Chrysler.
Grateful for any help that anyone can offer, otherwise it's back to eBay for the RAQ!
Thanks all
Spencer
