Default Are Chrysler cars still made in America?

Are Chrysler Cars still made in America? I read something in autoweek about the '07 Sebring, they said it cost 20,000 plus shipping. I know they were bought by Daimler but I wouldn't think they would move the factories.

Chryslers are still built in America. Daimler didn't outright buy Chrysler, but they are taking over... Slowly though... I'm pretty sure all factories are still in the US...

Does that mean that over time they eventually won't be made in America?

Not any time soon, if ever... Chryslers are sold here mostly and aren't in too many other countries... I don't think they would move their factories away from where they sell, when they're already here...

"Shipping" costs are actually transportation costs from the factory to the dealer and used to be cheaper the closer to the factory you were. Many people would come to Detroit and buy a car for that reason. Now the factory just adds an ammount to all invoices and they advertize a lower price "plus shipping"
