Hondas dominated AAA and Parents Magazine's fourth annual list of "Best Cars for Families." The study looks at safety convenience and practicality.


The Chrysler Town & Country, the Honda Odyssey and the Toyota Sienna made the list for top minivans. In the SUV category, the Nissan Murano, the Volvo XC90 and the Dodge Durango made the grade. The Honda Accord, the Chrysler 300 and the Toyota Camry were named top sedans. Top station wagons include the Subaru Legacy and Outback, the Mazda 6 and the Ford Freestyle.

The Mazda 3, the Honda Civic and the Scion xB were named top economy cars.
