Hello All, I went to my Chrysler Dealer on Tuesday 8/18/20 and wanted to order a new Chrysler 300 C class. I wanted to order the C class because it comes Standard with a 5.7L Hemi. I was told that Chrysler no longer puts Hemi's in the 300 model car. Yet the web sight show's that is the way it is sold. Also the 300S shows it as an option. I have a hard time believing this. Does anyone Know anything about this? I was ordering a 2020. I would appreciate any input on this matter. I have always wanted a 300 since the new design came out in 2005. I would have a hard time believing that at the end of August you could possibly order a 2020 model year vehicle. Production of the 2020 model vehicles would have ended in July, and production of 2021 vehicles is under way now. Perhaps the specifications have changed for 2021 and you did not make it clear to the dealer that you were thinking of 2020 specifications.

Try going back to the dealer and make it clear that you are seeking a 2020 model. The dealer should be able to search the inventories of nearby dealers to see if there is a model in stock somewhere.

 

Ya know you are probably right. However the dealer was correct. You can no longer order a new 300C PERIOD !!! I know it sounds crazy. there are 3 models only you can order of the Chrysler. The only one with a Hemi is the 300S. What I had hoped the dealer would have done is tell me or ask me if I would consider a 2019? The answer would have been CERTAINLY. !! He seemed like a lazy guy. I took it upon myself to find one myself and I did. A 2019 300C platinum with Hemi, 19 speaker H.K.stereo, all the distance cruise controls, lane sense, Weather tech front, back, and trunk, undercoating, just about every package that was available, ONE year old, and get this, 1150 miles on it. You could still smell the leather and new car smell. The guy bought it for his wife and she DID NOT LIKE IT !!.. Well at least that's what he said...Hmmmm Got it for a fantastic price and got a very good trade on my 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee .Found the 300 on CarGuru. on a lot 30 miles from my house. The guy at the Chrysler dealer should have found it for me in a heart beat. That Chrysler dealer is only a half mile from my house so I went back there to SHOW IT TO HIM !! LOL It was fun. He does not work there anymore. I know all the mechanics there and the service Mgr. That's where I bought and serviced my jeep. I guess he had other problems. I did take the 300 to that dealer the day I got it and had it checked out. Perfect from front bumper to back. To me it was too good to be true. I guess every once in a while we all get a break.
