First time Chrysler owner with my 300. Really like this luxury sedan...a great value for the money and looks great too!

Sad to see that it took an Italian manufacturer and gov't bailout to turn it around, but now they have great products.

No doubt, great products. But.... will they stand behind them or will every warranty claim be stamped with a big red DENY ?

Also... for those of us who have been around long enough... we've seen the same sales pitch over & over again... you gotta buy this years model because we've now added two power ports for the back seat & so on.

I really think that the domestic manufactures did themselves (and us) a huge disfavor by not standing behind their products the way that they should have. They are mechanical & electronic creatures... things can go wrong, but by spending a bit more on warranty work, they could have created bucket loads of new future sales.

Now... don't read me wrong.... technology has really helped to make our cars a lot less ornery - I do not miss the days of trying to nurse an old car to life with a carburetor on a cold winter morning. Now you just turn the key and away you go...

I think we could get rid of a lot of the electronic doo dahs that are in new vehicles (read expense) if people were taught how to drive. Our driver training here is a complete joke compared to that of Europe, especially Germany. Of course... here driving is considered transportation... over the pond it is a passion.
