-Have you tried something as simple as new plug wires? A plug wire that is arcing will cause a light bucking/missing at light throttle. Just a thought....

sorry didn't realize I didn't post motor,, it's a 2.7 v6
Matt,
I have put 2 sets of wires and plugs,, does anybody know if I can just run the converter unlocked for a while to see if that might be causing the bucking??
thanks everyone for looking at my post,, I really want this gone...

HUmm u might want to get your money back on the wires because U don't have spark plug wires. As for the converter driver faster then 55 it will stay locked up and no u cant just turn it off. What are the codes in the computer?

Keep it under 35 mph and the torque converter clutch should never engage.
