08 3.5 Tranny Dipstick

My 08 doesn't have a tranny dipstick, anyone know if it can purchased. It's the 6-speed, or are we always going to have to go and get it checked, because sometimes you can't trust the dealers to do it correctly[/align]

We just got ours, but does the car actually have one? Some are not to be checked, only changing the fluid is "recommended". Did you check the owners manual?

These are supposed to be a sealed unit.

to check it is a really long procedure you have to have it warmed up know the temp of the trans fluid and then you have to get a calibrated dip stick. Normally this is only done when replaced.
