Cool 1996 Chrysler Sebring Convertible, 2.5 liter, v-6 NO START

The car started three times intermittently after a replaced the valves. I have read the forums and it seems a lot of people have the same problems with not starting but I haven't found one problem exactly like mine. One minute it runs and the next - no spark. Two hours later, it started. So now the engine turns over, I can hear the fuel pump, but no spark. I checked ignition, there was no continuity on 1 and 2 in the "On" and "Run" positions. There was continuity in "Start" position. The codes were high input on throttle position sensor, and high input on air temperature sensor. Is there some relay or possibly a security program that makes continuity on 1 and 2 or would it be a bad switch? Any help would be appreciated.
