we have a 96 sebring vert.the problem is the car doesnt want to shift no matter what I do.I tried moving the shifter when i'm going down the road.It acts like it just wont shift.doesnt slip.any ideas.

Dude same thing just happend to my 96 chrysler seabring didnt shift past 2nd gear and would rev out...I ended up having to get my tranny fixed because your torque converter and ur clutch hub probably need to be replaced as mine did or it could be worse. I paid to have it rebult for 1500 even so look to spend around that much maybe more to fix it.

 

Your transmission had gone into limp in mode. You need to put the trans codes out and post, either I , moe or chrysler tech can help you.
