Default 1998 LXI Coupe Questions

Hi out there! After owning many Sebring convertibles I finally got a coupe, a 1998 LXI. The problem is I'm finding it hard to find information on the car, lots of information and YouTube videos about the convertible but nothing about the coupe. The questions I have right now is how to replace the rear view mirror? It has the bleed from the auto dimming and the compass is hit and miss from the wire being loose. Also advice on how to replace the stereo and speakers, including the dash ones as the right one is blown. Thanks!

Sebring coupes were built by Mitsubishi. The convertibles were built by Chrysler. The cars were very different, with almost no parts in common. You might have some luck looking for information on Mitsubishi coupes from that vintage. After 20 years, parts are going to be difficult to come by.

Try a 98 Avenger, if you think parts are scarce! Try rockauto they are an online site, great prices and service. most things I need come from there!

Oh wow I see now those are my car! They just added the Chrysler badge to it and bam! Found a ton more information looking it up that way then by looking it up with the Chrysler name. Part wise are they really hard to come by? Are the parts between the three cars the same?

Any advice on replacing the auto dimming rear view mirror? Does a replacement need programed for the car?

I said that because I have the Avenger. Mechanical parts should be the same, Body and interior would be different. For that rear if you can find an auto dimming rear mirror, it would be "plug and play", not needing to be programmed.
My Avenger has the 2.5 v-6 by mitsubishi
And please go to your CP and update a location to where you are at, helps folks know a little more of how to best help you. There are differences between N. american and European models.
