2.7 Cam Tone Ring Replacement

Default 2.7 Cam Tone Ring Replacement

I replaced a 2.7 engine in a 2001 Sebring Convertable. I used the original flex plate, but didnt swap the cam gear. The cam gear tone ring is wrong and the engine wont start. Is it possible to replace just the tone ring and not the whole gear?

If I replace the gear, I have to fool with the timing chain. The tone ring is riveted to the cam gear and there are also two bolts that go through the tone ring, through the cam gear and into the cam. Are these two bolts enough for the tone ring or what is used to replace the rivets?

The tone wheel is riveted to the gear so the hear will need to come off and use original tone wheel less issues.
