Default 2001 Sebring LXI 3.0 Coupe.....transmission problem???

Having an issue with my Sebring that has since been parked in my garage. The car started acting as if it were going to die (rpm's dropped) when stopped at lights and stop signs was trying to trouble shoot that problem but now my main concern is that the car will shift in and out of gear when it is cold but when the car heats up when it is put into gear it won't go or stops going when it heats up. Any suggestions on what could be causing this would be a gret help.

Take it to a place with proper diagnostic equipment and they can hook it up to their machine and read the diagnostic codes stored in the car's computers. Then you can start to figure out what is wrong. There's no point in asking people to guess about it.

I know you have check, but make sure the transmission fluid is filled to the proper level.
