I have a 2001 Sebring 4 Dr Sedan that has recently had the rack & pinion replaced for the 3rd time. The first was replaced on the mfg. warranty. After that, Chrysler would not take responsibility even though the 2nd replacement was within a year of the 1st and the 3rd was within a year of the 2nd . . . unbelievable! I spoke to Chrysler just before the 2nd replacement and they could not find anything in their records that indicated that this would be a recurrent or common problem. I'm curious to know if anyone else has had this problem.
